Adelaide Botanical Garden - August 2015

The Adelaide Botanical Garden had a beautiful display of trees and plants and we easily spent three hours just quickly walking through all the different garden areas.  It would have taken us all day if we wanted to view everything in detail as there was a huge variety to view.

We were unlucky enough to get a cold windy day but we're fortunate the rain held off while we were there.

I would recommend a visit to this Botanical Garden which is easy walking distance from where a lot of the hotels and restaurants, plus there is a free bus that will let you off right in front of the gardens.

Adelaide Botanical Garden - Succulent area - August 2015

The Succulent Garden area at the Adelaide Botanical Gaden was a nice surprise with a lot of the succulents flowering beautifully with a big array of colours in the flower display.  It is a very large area and lovely to walk around.

Adelaide Botanical Garden - Rose Gardens - August 2015

August is not the time to view roses however being a rose lover I was interested in how they have set out their trial garden.

I would love to come back in the Spring or Autumn and see all the roses in full bloom. It would be great viewing.

Adelaide Botanical Garden - Rainforest area - August 2015

The Rainforest area of the Adelaide Botanical Garden was lovely to walk through. It is a large area with a lot of rainforest trees, ferns etc.

We had a cold and windy day for our tour through the gardens but it did not detract from the beauty of the area.
