We were well looked after on board the Murray Princess.  The staff were very friendly and the food presentation was better than expected. The dining room was formal - white tablecloths and five star presentation.  Everyone received a gift of a coffee mug which we could use to get our own tea and coffee at any time from the cafe bar at the paddle wheel end of the boat. Every day there was a different cocktail on special.  It was run along the lines of a large cruise ship where breakfast was more informal but lunch and dinner were formal.  The Captain sat with us on the Captains dinner night and he told us a lot about the history of the Murray Princess and how he got to work on the ship.

The weather was quiet cool during our trip so we could sit inside and still get the benefit of the river views. We also had the opportunity to get off the ship at various points to get an up close and personal view of the riverbank.  We also stopped off at Murray Bridge which is a small historical town.
