Another "must do" when visiting Melbourne is the Crown Casino - just for the experience.
The Casino was walking distance from our hotel so we had dinner there one night and watched a Las Vegas show which is of course designed to draw in the gamblers to the tables. Di and I are not gamblers but we enjoyed watching other people lose their money. There were a variety of restaurants from cheap buffet to expensive a la carte.
It was a typical Casino full of flashing lights designed to attract gamblers which they do very successfully.
