We had a wonderful afternoon viewing and climbing The Great Wall. It is an awesome structure and just to be able to set foot on it and climb a small section of the wall was very exhilarating. The early part of the climb was quite steep and difficult in places and just as dangerous to get back down. Along the top was not so bad and the view made it well worth the effort of getting there. Among those walking with me were Richard, Di, Jan, Fay, Arthur, Kay & Georgina & we enjoyed the challenge of finishing the walk. Some of us got part way which was the beginning & hardest part of the walk I thought.
We spent all of the afternoon there which made us late for the evening program.
It meant having to miss out on the actrobatic show so that we did not have our dinner too late at night. As we had put in a fairly long day the majority vote was to miss the show.
We went to a local Chinese Restaurant for dinner.
