Vietnam - Long Thanh Golf Course, Saigon - April 2013

The Long Thanh Golf  Club & Residential Estate, Saigon - what a beautiful Golf Course this is.  If you are thinking of playing golf in the Saigon area this is definitely a MUST DO!

This Golf Course reminded me very much of the golf courses in China like Mission Hills.  It is beautifully manicured and designed and was a pleasure to play.  Our Caddies were good and we all enjoyed our golf with varying degrees of success in the scoring.   It is a stunning course with a Clubhouse to match with magnificent gardens and landscaping as the photos will show.  They must have a massive staff of gardeners and green keepers to keep the place in such good condition.

This is a Golf & Country Club with Residential Real Estate.  We played the Lake Course which had some challenging water holes.  We drove out from Saigon in our tour bus with our guides who organised the golf for us.  After golf we drove straight back to Saigon for dinner.

This was our last game of golf in Vietnam before returning to Sydney in a couple of days time.  It had been a great experience playing on the courses here and one that will stay in my memory.
