We had a great day at Ocean Dunes Golf Course at Phan Thiet. It was a challenging course with some good water holes and some fantastic views over the ocean. It was a very hot day and we really felt the humidity.
I played with Rhonda and our caddies picked us some fresh frangipani flowers for our hair. It was an interesting course with some nice gardens. I was surprised to find pineapples growing on the course.
Being near the beach side there was a lot of sandy patches off the fairways so we had to be careful to stay on the paths. We did manage to get one of the buggies bogged.
The clubhouse was not very big and did not sell much in the way of food. We enjoyed our day and went back to our resort for a swim after golf which was very welcome.
