We travelled from Zurich in Switzerland via Lindau to Munich Germany. We stayed at the Park Hilton Hotel in Munich. We had a tour around the city and saw the Victory Arch, Frauenkirche, and saw the Glockenspiel on the Town Hall. We walked through the Marienplatz and checked out all the buildings and shops there.
There were lion statues scattered throughout the city and I understand they were donated by various sponsors and were to be auctioned for charity.
That evening we went to a typical beer hall or "Bier Keller" and enjoyed some German beer and entertainment and dancing.
The next day we travelled on to Oberammergan.
