We travelled from Ballarat to Bendigo stopping overnight at the Avondel Caravan Park on the Calder Highway. It was a lovely Caravan Park, $30 per night for a powered site, but it was very comfortable.
We stopped to do some grocery shopping at Bendigo City and visited Lake Weeroona which is a beautiful little spot in the middle of the city. We stopped at the Bendigo Pottery Factory on the way out of Bendigo and stopped at Rochester to check out a hardware shop on the way to Echuca.
