This Memorial is well worth the visit. It is a beautifully maintained area with many memorial features including a wall that has all the names of the Prisoners of War. We understand that 35,000 were captured and 8,500 killed.
It is a fitting Memorial leaving us with an appreciation of how many POW's there were captured in the defence of our country.
Features are stone gardens and grass feature gardens.
from the Memorial we could walk to the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.
