Day 3 Murray Princess Cruise - Wetlands of the Murray River - MV Dragonfly - August 2015

Dragonfly - flat bottomed boat that took us out to the wetland areas

Bird nests in the rocks - very small birds create their nests in the holes

The MV Dragonfly was an interesting excursion on our Murray River Tour.  This area is a bird lovers dream with a huge variety of birds enjoying the natural habitat of the wetlands.
We were taken into areas that the paddle wheeler could not go plus the guides on board the Dragonfly were well versed in the local knowledge and bird life. He cliff areas were interesting with birds making their homes in the small holes in the rock face.
