Our journey from Bryce Canyon to Zion National Park was a very scenic trip through mountains, rock formations, desert areas and wooded areas. It was picturesque and interesting especially the Switchback Road going into Zion National Park which is a man made road tunnelled through a mountain that snakes itself up and down the mountainside turning on itself many times to enable the grades for the road.
To the Mormon Pioneers it was a haven of beauty resembling natural temples and cathedrals and they called it "Little Zion".
We had a beautiful weather day which gave wonderful colour to the rock formations and the views down the switchback were breathtaking.
