We had a great day at Monument Valley experiencing some memorable moments from the old cowboy classics with some very familiar rocks.
The trip back to Lake Powell was just as scenic as on the way out, but it always seems longer at the end of a busy day.
We arrived back at Lake Powell in time to enjoy a swim and watch a beautiful sunset over Lake Powell from our resort. It had been a very hot day so we lingered around the pool for quiet a long time - being the last to leave which is not unusual.
