We had a long day of travel from Yosemite to Monterey with some good stops along the way.
We drove down the Sierras and through the Joaquin Valley (known as the breadbasket of California) stopping at the Fruit Barn at Merced before reaching the seaside areas leading to Pebble Beach where we had a stop over to view the famous Golf Course. It was an interesting trip with the views changing constantly. As we neared Pebble Beach we were able to have views of other golf courses and stopped to view seals and bird life at the beachfront. We drove past some fabulous mansions that were built in that area with sea views and close to the golf courses.
We had a good mountains to the sea experience.
