We had a hot dusty drive from Cunnamulla to Bourke with some road repairs and road kill to avoid.
We arrived at Kidman's Camp to check in for the night - which is where we stayed on the way through to Cunnamulla last week. We could not get the same site but found a nice quite shady site not far from the amenities block and the swimming pool.
We were very hot when we arrived and went for a swim in the pool. Surprisingly it was quite cold so we did not stay in for long. We managed to get all of our washing done and dried so we could head home with a clean wardrobe of clothes.
Tammy, Trent, Selina, Bailey & Noah also stayed overnight in the cabins at Kidman's Camp and they called in to say hello on their way to Canberra the next day. They found that the cabin was good.
We found this campsite very comfortable and the fact that it is 7 klms out of town is good as there is not too much concern for security as there would be if we were close to town. The area is kept very clean and tidy. They do not take bookings - other than for the cabins and we could choose our own site. It is a case of first in - first served.
We travelled on to Dubbo the next day.
