Richard & Lyn have got some wonderful neighbours and friends at Cunnamulla. We were invited to attend a campfire dinner at Lyn & Richard's neighbours place at Cunnamulla outback. It is called Sunset Ridge for a very good reason. The views from the ridge were beautiful and to be able to sit in a bath and watch the sun set was just amazing. The bath was such a good idea and set up so well so we could get hot water from the camp fire to make up some nice tepid water, perched on the edge of the ridge - so beautiful and peaceful.
It was a hot day and virtually no clouds which was a bit of a shame as the sunset would have been even more amazing if the clouds were there to pick up the sunset colours. In any case we were more than impressed and had a very enjoyable evening.
The camp dinner around the fire with a glass or two of wine on a very balmy night was very sociable and it was lovely to meet Lyn & Richards friends. We had more food than we could jump over and as usual the country hospitality was fantastic.
