Museum of Modern Art, New York - October 2012

No visit to New York is complete without at least one Museum.  We chose the Museum of Modern Art because it was in close proximity to the Rockefeller Center.

The Museum was quite large and has special exhibitions on the top floor which change from time to time.  This time it was focused on Children's history and had a lot of the old school records, fashions, photos etc which was good to look at.

I am not too over whelmed with Modern Art - some of it left me unimpressed however there were some good portraits and being a lover of flowers I enjoyed the Monet paintings.

We were short on time by the end of the week and most Museums need at least two to three hours just to skim through them.  I noticed that there were a couple of other big museums not to far away from Central New York but time beat us.
