No matter which angle you look at the Statue of Liberty it is huge. I understand that her hand is 8 foot high so that is an indicator.
We saw the Statue of Liberty by cruise boat as part of our Globus City Tour which was a tour inclusion so we did not take the time to go back to see it again on land via Liberty Island. It is a very impressive sight and well worth a viewing.
There is a free ferry that will take you past the statue which would be a good way of seeing this famous landmark.
