Hong Kong - Traditional Temple - 17th Oct. 2007
Our first touring stop was at a traditional temple. These temples are taken very seriously by the locals and they are seen to be praying and leaving offerings of food etc. at the temple. They have large coils of incense burning on the ceiling of the entrance hall which made the room very smokey and stifling.(See attached photo).
But of course there was the good old souveneir shop & fortune teller there ready to take our money.
