Our second stop of the Tour was Victoria Peak. From the top, which we reached by cable train (photo attached), there is a fantastic view overlooking Victoria Harbour and the surrounding city. There was a fair bit of smog over the city but still had a view that was worth looking at. I believe sometimes it is so smoggy that there is no view at all - so I guess we can consider ourselves lucky. Images attached: Going up in the cable train; A view out the window of the train; A wax figure of Jackie Chan in the foyer of the train station; Des in a rickshaw; some of the group at the top; a board detailing views of interest from the peak; the higher viewing platform ( we did not have time to go up there unfortunately); view of the harbour & city.
I am retired from work but not from life. I enjoy travelling both international and local. I play golf regularly and love to walk. I have about 150 roses in my garden and also participate in the garden & grounds enhancement program at my local golf club
