Hobart - Royal Hobart Golf Club

I cannot believe that this is the only photo I took at the Royal Hobart Golf Club. The course was lovely and we really enjoyed playing it - especially the girls. There are a lot of bunkers on the course designed to catch the big hitting male players and there were no water hazards. A few of the boys had to test out their sand wedges.

Incidently the overall results of the boys vs the girls was a trouncing for the boys & cost them each $2 for a keno ticket.

The greens and fairways were immaculate & it was a pleasure to play on them. The course was not as spectacular with the water views that the Tasmania Golf Course has - so I think I was just focused on golf & forgot to take any photos.

The photo I did take was of two very friendly ducks with a bit of spring fever, getting to know each other.
We had dinner that night (photos attached) at the Salamanca Inn which is the hotel that we stayed at in Hobart.
I would highly recommend that hotel to anyone looking for accommodation in Hobart. It was very comfortable, convenient to the shops, restaurants and the markets, bonus of an in house laundry which provided automatic washing machines, commercial dryers & detergent for no charge.
