Our tour to James Bond Island was an interesting one.  Our trip across the bay was very beautiful with magnificent islands emerging out of the sea - very similar to Halong Bay in Vietnam.

James Bond Island is only very small, but very distinct.  I will have to get out the movie (The man with the golden gun) and refresh my memory.

We landed at a wharf that had a lot of very commercial market stalls waiting to capture us as we got off of our boat. We walked around the markets to get to split rock and a good view of James Bond Island.

After that we walked over a hill to a beach the other side where our boat was waiting to pick us up.
The walkway was steep and rough in parts ( No OH&S studies done in Thailand) but the views along the way we're worth the effort.

This tour was booked through "Beyond Resort Khoalak" Tour Desk and included a stop off at the floating fishing village and a canoe ride through the sea caves as well as a nice lunch served in a restaurant and complimentary water and soft drinks all day.
