Halls Gap Information Centre - Grampians National Park - October 2014

We stopped off at the Halls Gap Information Centre to pick up some information regarding the Grampians National Park walks and general maps of the area.

The Grampians is a huge National Park and you are well advised to get information before selecting which areas to explore.  Some are easier than others - and in some cases a good amount of personal fitness is required as some of the walks are long and not so easy.

I was fascinated to see the trail walker designed for disabled people to enable them the chance to see some of the lookouts etc.  (photo above) The carer would need to be fit as some of the paths are steep.

We chose Reeds Look Out and the MacKenzie Falls which were both good viewing areas and not to taxing for the older generation.
