Helicopter ride over the Twelve Apostles - October 2014

This was a WOW factor in our holiday!  The flights were fully booked the first day we arrived at Port Campbell when it was a wet, windy. cold day.  The following day was beautiful and we were one of the first flight to go up.  There was no one else there to travel with us so Peter and I had the helicopter to ourselves (with the pilot of course).

It was a fantastic flight and we travelled right along the coastline viewing the Apostles (only eight left now) and had a good overview of Port Campbell.

The cost was $145.00 each plus $45.00 for for a video of the actual flight (optional),  I thought it was well worth the investment.  Our pilot was very good and pointed out all of the famous parts of the Great Ocean Road that we could stop off and view when on the road. Viewing the Apostles and coastline from the air gives a totally different perspective to viewing them from the ground level.

I was allowed to photograph and video myself which was a bonus.
