It was a cold, rainy, windy day which did not show off the Twelve Apostles at their best however the natural rock formations are nothing less than spectacular. Even in cloudy weather you cannot help but be amazed with the scenery in it's rugged form.
We managed to walk out on the viewing platforms along with busloads of other tourists and get some good photos but it was too unpleasant to attempt a walk down to the beach.
We checked in with the helicopters for a scenic ride but they were fully booked out so we booked in for early the next morning which proved to be a good move because the weather cleared to a fine sunny day.
