We visited the Lincoln Memorial twice during our visit to Washington. The first time was during our Globus tour of Washington Memorials by night and the second time was the next day where we saw it from a different perspective during daylight hours.
The Memorial is more awesome at night with the effect of the floodlights.
It is a very impressive tribute and like everything else in America - it is BIG. I enjoyed our visit to view the Memorial as it is one that we have seen many references to in travel books and the like.
