The Smithsonian Natural History Museum is definitely a "Must See". I could have spent a lot more time looking around all the exhibits. We had two visits here and only got to see the Mammals, the animals and the gemstones and that was just a quick look.. There is so much more to see.
They had to drag me out kicking and screaming from the gemstones section - especially the Hope Diamond. Wow! That alone would get me back there again. I could have lingered in that section for some time.
This museum had some brilliant exhibits and was well worth two visits. Allow plenty of time for this one. They also have a discovery room which we did not get to which is a great hands on display for children.
