We left Toronto at 8.00am to head for Niagara Falls.
We stopped for lunch at a very pretty little place called Niagara-on-the Lake where we had a couple of hours free time to look around and have something to eat.
The town was designed with lovely garden displays which I assume would be mainly potted plants that would be stored for the cold winter months. There were a lot of little boutique shops and lunch/coffee places to choose from. The only problem we had was the bus was not allowed to drive down the main street and had to park out of town and we walked our way into the main part of town.
There was a golf course there as well which we did not find out until it was too late to walk over to see it/ The town is very tourist orientated with a lot of gift shops etc. Being a flower person I enjoyed looking at the gardens. The Floral Clock was well done and we stopped off to view that on our way to the Falls..
