It was a long journey from Dalat to Phan Thiet along country roads. The country side was very rural and changed constantly as we got closer to the coast of Vietnam. We ran into a thunderstorm that gave us some very dramatic sky views where we could see the rain thundering down in the distance. Luckily we missed the worst of it and our journey was not too bad.
It was interesting to view the area we travelled through as it showed us the true living conditions of the local people outside of the big cities.
Phan Thiet was spread out and the area we stayed at was a fashionable resort area on the beach front. There were a lot of similar resorts to ours side by side.
We arrived in time to have lunch and have 9 holes of golf before dinner.
