Cruising Mandurah Waters WA - March 2011

We arived early at Mandurah travelling from the Vines Golf Resort. Our rooms were going to be a couple of hours so we left our luggage at the hotel and took a walk along the boardwalk to find somewhere to have lunch.

We walked past the wharf where the "Dancing Dolphin" was offering luncheon cruises around the Mandurah waterways. It was a lovely day and this seemed to solve both our problems of lunch and filling in a couple of hours. It was our only golf free day & the only opportunity to take a cruise and see how the other half live.

It was a good move as it was a very informative and interesting cruise. We pulled into the Ocean Marina & the crew picked up fish & chips for lunch and drinks were available at the bar on the cruiser. There were some magnificent homes and mansions not to mention the yachts and motor boats attached to the Marinas along the way.

There were two resident dolphins living in the harbour & they came out on cue and swam alongside the boat.

In all it was a great way to spend a few relaxed hours & an excellent overview of Mandurah and it's waterways.
