Dunsborough Lakes Golf Resort WA - April 2011

Dunsborough Lakes Golf Resort is at Dunsborough WA in the Margaret River area about 20 minutes from our accommodation at Bunker Bay. We spotted this course on our way through to Bunker Bay & thought that it would be a good course to play.

It is a developing resort course that will be worth a re-visit in a few years time when all the trees, gardens and landscaping are fully developed. They are in a 'young' stage as you can see by the size of the trees around the course. A lot more rain is needed in this area - at the stage we were there they had not had any rain for three months.

It is well set out with some challenging holes with nice water features, ducks, black swans and kangaroos.

The clubhouse and Pro Shop is very small with the players having a 'tavern' as a rest stop and after golf meals and drinks.

We enjoyed our day there in perfect weather.
