We had several visits to Fremantle WA during our Western Australia experience.
Our first visit was by ferry from Perth when we caught a Fremantle Tram Tour that gave us a commentary of the famous parts of Fremantle as well as taking us all around Fremantle City and to Monument Hill for a photo stop.
It was a hop on hop off service so we got out in Fremantle city for lunch and then returned to Perth by the train service which was very good.
We enjoyed our day at Fremantle in perfect weather.
Our second visit was to the Fremantle Sailing Club for dinner to meet up with an old school friend of Mark's who has a boat moored there. Ray had invited us on a day out on his boat at the weekend but the wind got very strong and the day had to be cancelled. We had a lovely dinner at the sailing club with Ray and his wife Christine and it gave Ray & Mark a chance to catch up.
We drove from Perth for that occasion and it was an easy drive.
