"The Tree Top Walk" was an attraction along the way on our trip from Albany to the Margaret River Region. Also attached is a section of forest named "The Land of the Giants" which are huge trees growing in their natural environment.
It is run very efficiently by the Department of Environment and Conservation of Western Australia and is a very interesting place to look at and they should be commended on it.
I was not sure what the tree top walk would consist of and was pleasantly surprised to find it a sound construction that felt very safe to walk on and was even more pleasantly surprised that Mark could take Anne up using a wheelchair which was definitely a bonus. Otherwise Anne would have had to wait for us on the ground instead of being able to enjoy the spectacle of walking amongst the tree tops as we did.
The walkway did sway a little but not enough to make it unsafe and there were plenty of hand grips for stability. Strangely enough we did not see any birds in the tree tops just a few small birds on the ground area - perhaps it was the time of day that we were there.
The Land of the Giants was a short walk away so we were able to have a close up look at the giant trees that grow in the tingle forest.

We gave this attraction the thumbs up.
